As a lively and popular holiday center of the region Valle Isarco Klausen is now a lovable small-town, in which mobility, relaxation and sociability are joined together in harmony. The well-known highlights are: the monastery Säben, the medieval wall, historic buildings and the town museum with the Loreto treasure. Since the artist Albrecht Dürer stayed for some time in Klausen, the small town developed a strong arts tradition. Today the Dürer-City (honored as one of "I borghi piú belli d'Italia") looks back on a rich historical heritage. Walks through quiet chestnut groves and vast vineyards and a stop in one of the rustical huts are a special pleasure.
