Holidays in Steinhaus

The small holiday resort is located in the midst of the Ahrntal. From the village Steinhaus the ski and hiking paradies Klausberg can be reached with a cable car within a few minutes. The Klaussee (2,150 m) sparkles in the sun as a diamond and the impressions that can be collected in the 2,500 m high altitude natural paradise are at least as valuable as jewels. Influenced by the mining industry the community in the Middle Ages experienced a strong upswing. Since the closure of the mine in 1893 the Ahrntal focuses on a sustainable tourism.
